When I first read the audition script for this beautiful story, I’m not ashamed to admit that I cried.  While this isn’t extremely unusual, (I’m known to cry at the 30 second donkey sanctuary advert on telly, and Old Yeller still gets me every. single. time.) I knew it was a sign of something special in the writing – and I wasn’t wrong!

This beautifully written tale could feel quite heavy as it explores grief and loss – but it is held up by also exploring the other side of the coin; acceptance, healing, hope and opening yourself up to love again.  You can’t help but to put yourself in Darcy’s shoes, and that makes the emotions all the more real.
