Book Review: Lost In You by Jade Winters

Amazon Blurb:

The last thing Heidi Cross needs is to fall in love with the enemy ….
As manager of the Young Minds Centre, Heidi Cross has two months to fight the eviction notice the charity has received. But things aren’t going to be easy, especially when she meets Vanessa O’Neil, the enigmatic and well-known lesbian, who is co-owner of the company responsible for evicting the charity.

While an intense chemistry sparks between the two women, Heidi knows that saving the centre must take priority over her attraction to Vanessa. But knowing and doing are two different things. As much as Heidi tries to keep her distance, something pulls her back to Vanessa.

As the battle to keep the centre open intensifies, a terrifying drama forces Heidi and Vanessa to decide what really matters most. But can Heidi even consider giving up her heart to a woman who is so out of her league?

The question is—does she have a choice?

My Thoughts:

I loved this story, and the writing was fantastic.  I was able to easily slide into the drama and instantly empathise with the characters.  I got so worked up when the brother visited the centre that I had to put the book down for a minute and remind myself these weren’t real people!  She knows exactly which buttons to push to make you love or hate a character, but she does it so subtly that you don’t notice until you are raging at a fictional character!  The tension builds nicely, the plot is well paced and believable and the saucy scenes are just saucy enough to be hot and sweet without being raunchy.

Jade Winters has secured her hold on the lesfic market with book, and I for one can’t wait to read what she writes next!  This book is highly recommended, get your copy today!
