Weston Super Lesfic is almost here!

16 November, 9.30 am - 5pm, The Campus, Highlands Lane, Weston Super Mare, BS24 7DX

In what will be my SECOND public meet and greet EVER - I’m super excited about this event. There aren’t currently a ton of women loving women focused fiction events out there, and even less in the UK. So when I heard a group of intrepid UK based authors were starting to organise free to attend events for readers and listeners to meet and mingle with their favourite authors (and narrators lol!) I couldn’t say no. My ego simply wouldn’t allow it.

Earlier this year my wife and I packed up the car and headed down to Crawley and attended the first ever South Coast Lesfic Hangout (SCLHO) where I met some amazing authors (I tried really hard not to drool on them, and for the most part I even succeeded) and the best part was that I met some amazing listeners as well! I even met Lise Gold - and eagle eared listeners will know that we recently released an audiobook together, Living, which is an AMAZING story and I highly recommend that everyone buys at least three copies.

The time is coming now for the next independently organised event, the cleverly titled Weston-Super-Lesfic, organised by the ever awesome Jenn Matthews. Yes, THAT Jenn Matthews. I know, right?!

Now that I’ve popped my cherry I’m not so nervous and I’m looking forward to seeing the authors again - and especially meeting some new listeners. I’m even planning some free audiobook giveaways on the day, so make sure you come visit me :-)

Lise Gold and I will be giving a talk on the day about something reeeeeeeeally cool, although we haven’t worked out the particulars of exactly what that will be, I can absolutely guarantee you it will be entertaining because there’s no telling what nonsense will fall out of my face on the day. I’m a freaking DELIGHT.
