But when her new business partner exploits JJ’s notoriety to keep the company afloat, avoiding the limelight becomes impossible.

As JJ keeps hungry movie producers at bay, she fields an intriguing offer from an old enemy that could help her expose a cyber bully, stop a string of suicides, and get her company the scoop it needs. To bring the story to light, JJ and her team must brave the darkest corners of the web and hope her own name doesn’t make the headlines in the process.

The Fall Girl is the second installment in The Miracle Girl, a captivating series of lesbian romantic suspense novels. If you like pulse-pounding plots and exploring the darker side of social media, then you’ll love T.B. Markinson’s gripping story.

Another great book by T.B. Markinson! It’s a wonderful continuation of the lives of JJ and Claire following the end of the miracle girl. TJ Richards does an excellent job narrating as always! - LuEllen Lang

Great Story!” 5/5 stars

I’m a big fan listening to TJ Richards read to me, Her voice is unique and has a way of pulling you into the storyline. I’m glad TB wrote book two as you get to explore the life of JJ and Clair. I feel that she left this one open ended and I’m hoping for a book 3 in the series. I’d highly recommend both books. Non well done TB and TJ - Customer 007

“A Rich tale that keeps you on the edge wanting more!” 5/5 stars

The Fall Girl is a thoroughly engaging and enjoyable story! I loved JJ and Claire’s story in The Miracle Girl and was thrilled to see it continue in The Fall Girl.

T.B. Markinson has the ability to create interesting characters that are often flawed, sometimes quirky, but always likable. Markinson thoughtfully develops complex characters that often struggle with their inner demons and perceived shortcomings. She fleshes them out in such a way that you care about them. Their journey is one that always yields a rich dimension to the plot.

Such is the case with JJ in The Fall Girl. The story picks up where The Miracle Girl left off; JJ finally has her life together. She has just reunited with the only woman she has ever truly loved and she is ready to build a life with her. For the first time in a long time, JJ feels like her life has purpose and direction. With Claire by her side, she feels like her world is her oyster.

However, just when JJ thinks her life couldn’t get any better, it takes an unexpected turn. She finds herself involved in an investigation of a serial killer from the deep dark web. The situation becomes increasingly complicated as JJ begins to rely on an unscrupulous woman from her past to uncover this cyber sociopath. Her involvement in this internet manhunt begins to threaten her newly ordered world and all that she loves.

The Fall Girl, at its heart, is a love story. However, the plot twists and turns keep you guessing until the end, making the read an adventure. The conclusion will ultimately leave you longing for another installment to JJ and Claire’s story.

“Great Sequel!” 5/5 stars

I liked The Miracle Girl, and I liked The Fall Girl just as much, but not for the same reasons. First of all, I'd read the first but I listened to the second one, and the narrator did a great job. Also, as a former journalist, I was very interested in the way the job was described, with all that's great about it but also all that's not so great (and sometimes really bad). The ending was quite open, so I really hope there's a third book coming. - Jude S

“Brilliant Sequel” 5/5 stars

This is a Great book and the second installment of the Miracle Girl series. In this brilliant sequel Markinson does a wonderful job by showing us flaw, human characters and a nicely flowed plot.

JJ Cavendish and Claire Nichols are enjoying their relationship, more in love than ever and expanding their family with a baby girl. Everything is going well despite of JJ and her friend Cora are struggling with their own and brand new news portal online. JJ is trying to find a way to stop travelling so much and to fulfill Claire’s dream of becoming a full time mum. When a very well-known enemy from her past comes back to shatter their peace, with a story they can’t refuse.

Things get shaky to say the least and very intense on the “battle field”, JJ’s life becomes a living hell and starts falling apart bit by bit. It is a bumpy ride with all the trials and tribulations that occurs while digging deep in the dark net and trying to find the answers.

It is a very complete, great story with a lot of intrigue, many twists and turns, the lovable, complicated and interesting characters we all know and love, romance, steamy scenes, undoubtedly a very engaging one, well written and paced, solid research, and excellent tension. Impossible to stop listening once you begin.

Also TJ Richards does an excellent job with the narration of this magnificent story, she is capable of invoking strong emotions, making us live the story, get all the feels. A great complement to a grand story.

I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a good, well-written book.

“A great follow up to The Miracle Girl” 5/5 stars

This sequel to The Miracle Girl was fantastic...The Fall Girl is the second installment to this series. In this book, Claire and JJ are settling into their life together all the while JJ is coming fresh from her book tour, starting a new business adventure with her best friend/business partners and on the home front with Claire expanding there family. To bad normal see doesn’t fallow JJ for long. A person from her past comes along and persuades JJ & Cora (with a little bit of blackmail) to help look into some cyber bullying and some murders that have been taking place in the under belly of the dark web. Needless to say all hell breaks loose and nothing is as it seems... Now with that said, once I started listening to this book I found it very hard to stop. This story has some unexpected twists and turns that keeps you on the edge of your seat to the very end. While still incorporating the loving and sometimes steamy relationship between Claire and JJ. This book does come with a Cliffhanger of an ending, so my fingers are crossed that all these characters come back for a third book. Once again if you’ve read the books 📖 and loved them just as much as I did, Then I can’t imagine you would be disappointed in the audiobooks version. TJ Richards does a wonderful job in narrating this series. I was so absorbed in the story that it was difficult to imagine just one person doing all of the characters voices. “Bravo” to Markinson and Richards to a job well done! - Hayde
